5 days:Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi Forest Park

Bwindi Impenetrable forest is a home to 326 gorillas almost half of the world’s population of Mountain gorilla, 346 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies. The afro- montane forest has a dense under storey of fern , vines and shrubs. On arrival you will check in for dinner and overnight at Luxurious Gorilla resort camp, L. Kitandara tented camps, or Buhoma Community bandas.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Wake up very early in the morning and take breakfast before you set off for gorilla tracking which is one of Uganda’s major tourism highlight. Set off early with your rangers to track the gorillas. The ecstasy of your encounter will expunge the complexity of the potentially strenuous trek. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to camp exhilarated to relieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Have dinner and over night at Buhoma Homestead or Community Bandas.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth Elizabeth Park
Depart northwards for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. Indulge in a game drive in Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions before proceeding to the Mweya Peninsular; park headquarters.. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge

Wake up very early in the morning and proceed to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling Chimpanzee safari. This gorge is the natural habitat of habituated chimpanzees. Your guided walk may last three to five hours and in addition to seeing the chimps, plus other primates species encounters like the red tailed, colobus monkeys, baboons, and velvet monkeys, among others. It is imperative to be aware that the chimpanzee tracking is only subject to availability of permits and good weather because occasional flooding can make the trails impassable. After lunch, drive to the channel bank for an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which joins Lakes Edward and George. This watercourse is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes, and elephants, which can be seen at the banks. The bank also harbors a diversity of birds on the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game Viewing in Queen Elizabeth
